GRADIENT BACKGROUND

For my first card I used the Sea Shore Gradient Cardstock Set. I cut stripes of about 1 1/3” out of each sheet from the set and adhered them onto a white panel. I used a thinner (80 lb) cardstock for the panel so with adhered gradient strips onto it the whole pics didn’t get too think. As next I was die cutting it using the Doodled Dots Cover Die.

After die cutting I adhered the gradient panel onto a white card base.

I grabbed two leaf branches from my stash of stamped and die cut elements (left from making another card – I always save those to then use on another project).

These branches were made using the Leaf Canopy Set.

I popped the branches up onto the card and them popped up a sentiment white embossed on black on top. Which finished off my card.

FALL TORN GRADIENT

For my next card I used the Summer Afternoon Gradient Cardstock Set. Here I made strips of each color with one torn edge and adhered them onto a Parchment card base with each strip shifted along the one next to it.

I stamped another Leaf Canopy branch using the Caramel Toffee and Paper Bag Inks onto a Caramel Toffee sheet from the set and then die cut it using the matching die. After that I popped it up onto the card.

Next I stamped a sentiment onto the catch using the Paper Bag Ink.

Lastly I wrapped a twine around the top part of the card tying a bow around the leaf branch.

PIERCED GARDEN PICKS

For my last card I used the Red Cosmos and Green Meadows Gradient Cardstock Sets. Here I made a pierced roses bouquet as the main element of the card.

Here first I die cut each sheet from the sets using the Pegboard Canvas Die and then die cut elements using Garden Picks 3D Dies. I die cut layers for two types of roses from the set and for the leaves I only die cut the bottom layers.

Then I assembled roses adhering their layer one on top of another.

Next I made a card base out of a Parchment Cardstock and added some brown splatters onto it. Followed by adhering the rose bouquet onto it. I adhered some elements flat and some I foam mounted using thin and regular black adhesive squares.

Lastly I added several Onyx Crystals and popped up the sentiment.

Each one of these is a clever and a beautiful use of these new papers from Altenew. The concept of the gradient colors is fantastic for using the layering dies, but you took it to the next level with your ideas and gave us more to think about in using them! Thanks!

I absolutely fell in love with the card that has the diecut holes. In fact, I ordered the Pegboard Canvas die so I can make similar cards. You said you used the Cross Stitch Canvas die, but I do think it’s the Pegboard Canvas die. Just thought you might want to clarify that for anyone else who might want to order. Cheers!
