STAMPING MAT

For me personally the most exciting product in the release is the Stamping Mat!

Our silicone grid mat is great for stamping, watercolor, ink blending, heat embossing, and everyday crafting! The mat features inches as well as metric measurements on the edges and a half inch grid. Due to the nature of the silicone surface, some grid lines have slight imperfections and are not completely straight. This will not affect the quality or functionality of the mat.

GOLD TROPICAL GEOMETRY

For my first card I used the new Geometric Frames Die Set. The set contains dies to cut out thin geometric frames of three different shapes as well as polygons of the same shape and the size of the outer edge of the frames.

For my card I went with a trendy combination of a frame, gold and tropical theme.

The frame was die cut out of a Gold Mirror Cardstock, the corresponding polygon was die cut out of a Pale Gray Cardstock.

I gold embossed on white several tropical leaves from the Parrot Paradise Stamp Set and fuzzy cut them.

The leaves I adhered flat onto a Real Gray card base and then I foam mounted the frame with a gold embossed sentiment using black adhesive foam squares.

HOLIDAY WREATH

For my next card I used the new Sophisticated Wreath Stamp Set. And I made a holiday card using it. My first holiday card of this year. It was so much fun to “unbox” holiday cardmaking.

Here first I stamped the berries in red. I was using my mini MISTI for stamping. After stamping each berry cluster I stamped over with embossing ink and clear embossed them.

Next I stamped the pine branch looking element in round manner forming a wreath using a lighter green ink. Followed by stamping about round of darker green ink. Clear embossing on berries resisted this stamping so I didn’t need to worry about masking them.

I stamped NOEL in red in the middle of the wreath and added green splatters around the wreath.

Lastly I adhered the panel onto a red card base.
