Three Cards with Spellbinders June Card Kit

Hello friends!

Today I’m sharing three cards made with the Spellbinders June Card Kit – Super Chill. This kit screams  – summer fun. I really like the pastel color theme of this kit. There are a lot of gold and gold foiled elements in the kit, which are very trendy now. And look at the die set that comes with it. You can make a balloon dog, cake candles and fun googles using it.

The kit content: Dies, Sentiments, Paper, Envelopes & Embellishments. Contains at least 45 pieces and will create up to 10 complete cards!

What I really like about Spellbinders kits is that they’re made such way that you don’t need almost anything else to make a card. Well except of a couple essential tools. I usually use die-cutting machine )of course), scissors and a liquid adhesive to adhere embellishments. Everything else I adhere using adhesive that comes with the kit.

PROJECTS

I made three probably the most happy cards I ever made using this kit. It was so much fun working with it. I should consider making more of such cards in future 🙂

My first card is very fresh and lemonade-themed. Look at this bottle – I had to use it.

I adhered a striped paper panel onto a card base, followed by adhering a journaling card on top. Next I popped the bottle, adhered a couple of citrus die-cuts around it and popped the sentiment.

Lastly I added several gold sequins. All elements were taken from the kit.

For my next card I used the die-set from the kit to make the candles.

I made a panel out of a patterned paper with gold foiled polka dots onto a ombre background and adhered it onto a card base.

Then I foam mounted the candles onto it, followed by mounting a sentiment on top.

I also adhered the fun banner die-cut in the top part of the card and added several gold sequins.

My last card represents a summer carnival fun. Well I think so, I’m not attending any outside summer events like ever, but this is how I think they look like 🙂

For this card again I started by adhering a patterned paper panel onto a card base.

Next I adhered a bunch of die-cuts from the kit on top. All of them were adhered flat and the balloon dog was foam mounted to add some interest.
