Today I will be sharing three cards using the new products from the release.
EVERLASTING HAPPINESS
The first product I want to feature today is the new Everlasting Happiness Stamp Set. This set has two wreath like stamps of different sizes which remind me this currently trendy style when only part of a wreath has some elements attached. And the rest is just a circle thingy.
I made a bright and happy card using this set with help of masking, ink blending and coloring with alcohol markers.
I started by stamping the bigger wreath from the set in black onto a white panel using . I used a stamp positioning tool for stamping and left the stamp mounted inside after stamping.
Next I made several masks for the floral elements of the card. I stamped the wreath onto a masking paper and cut out the stamped elements. After that I applied them onto the stamped on the panel wreath.
I didn’t bother to make masks for the tiniest flowers as later planned to color over them with similar markers.
Next I blended the panel with the Ocean Waves Ink. Then I removed the masks and colored the elements using the Artist Markers.
After that I added some black splatters onto the panel and foam mounted it onto a white card base.
I white embossed a sentiment from the Birthday Builder Stamp Set on black, cut it out with my scissors and popped onto the card.
Lastly I added several Onyx Crystals.
A WALK IN THE WOODS
Now.. If you’re not the first time here – you know the drill. If you’re new – welcome! My name is Svitlana and I’m obsessed with wood patterns. And of course I had to make a card using the new A Walk In The Woods Stamp Set.
First I blended the Starlight Ink onto a white panel. Next I stamped onto it with the wood background stamp using the same Starlight Ink.
For the floral part I adhered the Floral Flurries Washi Tape onto a vellum and cut them out with my scissors. Then I adhered them all onto another piece of vellum of a bigger size forming a layered floral cluster. I was using a glossy accent as a glue here.
Next I cut out the vellum piece leaving a small kind of shadow around the floral cluster. Then I foam mounted this layered vellum piece onto the panel using clear dimensional adhesive.
I white embossed a sentiment from the Birthday Builder Stamp Set on vellum, cut it out with my scissors and popped onto the panel. Which In turn was foam mounted onto a white card base.
Lastly I added several Snow Crystals.
ENCHANTED GOLD
For my last card I used another new product in the Altenew family – Enchanted Gold Pigment Ink. It’s an amazing ink, it gives a good coverage along with decent and tasty shine.
I started by stamping the beautiful Layered Laurel onto a Cotton Candy Cardstock panel. I was using the Cotton Candy and Coral Berry Inks for the two bottom layers and Enchanted Gold Pigment Ink for the two top ones. I used my MISTI for stamping and stamped in gold three times to give more coverage.
Next I added some splatters of the Antique Gold Ink Spray. After the splatters dried I foam mounter the panel onto a white card base.
Then I stamped a sentiment from the Birthday Builder Stamp Set onto the same Cotton Candy Cardstock in pink and gold, cut it out with my scissors and popped it onto the card.
Lastly I added several Gold Crystals.
