CARD

I used the new Rose Queen Die Set and Mighty Alphabet Die Set to create the card. As far as the color scheme goes I decided to go with a bold and very beautiful one – teal and orange color combo.

To make the background I blended the Galactic Stream Dye Ink onto a teal cardstock panel, sprinkled it with water, and also added some splatters of the same ink for additional texture.

To make the floral element I die-cut it out of a Caramel Toffee Cardstock sheet from the Gradient Cardstock Set – Summer Afternoon. Next, I covered the outline piece with Copper Embossing Powder, adhered it onto the panel, and inlaid the inside pieces into their corresponding “windows”.

After that, I added Antique Gold Metallic Ink Spray splatters onto the floral element to bring some texture to it as well.

I made the sentiment the same way as the outline piece – die-cut them out of a Caramel Toffee Cardstock, heat embossed with Copper Embossing Powder, and adhered onto the panel.

The panel in turn was foam mounted onto a white card base. Several Gold Confetti finished off the card.
