CARD
The card I’m sharing today featured all new markers from the set. There is a new “subset” of browns Water Garden Artist Alcohol Markers Set G, which I used for the leaves. Other new markers from both Sunshine Valley Garden Artist Alcohol Markers Set F and Water Garden Artist Alcohol Markers Set G to color the flowers.
The Poppy Garden Stamp Set was my floral stamp set of choice for this card and I went with the horizontal slimline size to fit all new colors.
I was stamping each flower using Rocky Shore Dye Ink (it’s a very light brown ink), coloring it using new markers and then white embossing the flower on top. I did white embossing after coloring as Artist Markers are alcohol ones and they would color over embossing.
After I finished coloring I blended the corresponding inks over the colored flowers. I tried to limit ink blending with each color only in the area where the flower was located.
Next I added water and white splatters to add interest to the background. Followed by adhering the panel onto a white card base.
To finish off the card I popped up a white embossed on black sentiment strip and added several white crystals.

This card is a work of art. I understand how you did it up to going back to white heat emboss at then end. You had to have used an acrylic block and not a Misti? I am in awe!

I did you my MISTI to heat emboss over. I did one flower at a time – stamped in light ink, colored, heat embossed. Then repeated the same for the next flower. I kept the stamp mounted in the MISTI for both stamping and heat embossing for each flower.
