Altenew | Simple Polar Bear Winter Card

Hello crafty friends!

Hope your weekend got a great start. I’m popping up quickly today to share a simple winter holiday card featuring Altenew Mini Delight: Polar Bear. Mini Delight is an Altenew product line of mini stamp and die sets. The price tag obviously is small since it’s a mini product. But you can still make a full size card using it.

For my card I made a background by stamping the Birch Forest Stamp Set in blue onto a white cardstock and blending same ink over it. Then I added white splatters on top. You can totally use another holiday background for that, it can be patterned paper, watercolor wash etc. The background I foam mounted onto a white card base.

For the snow drifts I did what I like to do for winter cards – layered to strips of white cardstock with one torn edge using dimensional adhesive.

Lastly I stamped the sentiment in blue ink onto the “snow drift”.
