Spellbinders | Spring Bunny Card. March Large Die Of The Month

Hi friends!

I hope you all are doing well, stay safe and keep distance from other people. These times are weird for ones and hard for others. Though we have no choice but accept the new reality. I lived through USSR collapsing and several economic crises. It’s hard to handle, it’s unfortunate to spend time on struggle when life is so short and unknown future is scary. But there are so much things in life to enjoy even among all that. As soon as we try to stay safe and healthy.

For me personally nothing changed much lifestyle wise. I’m an introvert and enjoy not being among people. I don’t know what “boredom” is and always have something to do something. As we all crafters do of course 🙂 On top of that I’m challenging myself to take care of several home and craft room projects I never had time for. And I encourage you to do the same. Although I’m sure those of you who have kids and have to homeschool now don’t know what “boredom” is as well. Hang in there!!!

Anyways, let’s talk about the card I came today to share with you. It was made with this month’s Spellbinders Large Die Of The Month – Basket Full of Bunnies. This amazing set is perfect for making cards, decor, and more. I already shared one card made using this set which featured an important element from this set – a basket. Here I made a joyful Spring scene featuring two adorable bunnies from the set.

I die-cut the bunnies and their parts (ear “insides”, noses and eyes) out of a white, pink and black cardstock and assembled the bunnies. Then I die-cut several leafy branches out of a white cardstock and flowers out of a pink, yellow and orange cardstock.

I adhered the bunnies onto a light blue cardstock panel, made “wreathes” for each one using the die cut flowers and then adhered the leafy branches and flowers all around them.

After that I adhered a sentiment die cut out of an orange cardstock onto the panel, which in turn was foam mounted onto a white card base.

It was very easy and fun to make, no ink or stamping was using here. Such project can be easily replicated and made in bulk with kids using just glue, paper and die-cutting machine (well and the die set of course).

Have a wonderful weekend!
