I hope your weekend is going great. Today I want to share several card made using the Spellbinders Limited Edition Merry Everything Christmas Card Kit.
This kit is enormous, it contains over 630 pieces. It combines traditional red and green holiday colors with added foiled elements as well as mint and black ones. You can create a lot of cards and tags using this set. It also will work for holiday scrapbooking, I especially see December Daily made with this kit.
My favorite product from this kit is the die set – with the adorable beetle. It can be used beyond Christmas as well.
I made three cards using the kit.
For my first card of course I planed with the die set. I made a red beetle with white accents. I also made a Christmas tree and a pile of presents and placed them “onto” the beetle.
Then I started assembling the card. I adhered a patterned paper onto a card case (all are from the kit).
After that I cut out a panel out of a black cardstock and tied a twine around it. Next I foam mounted the panel onto the card, followed by popping up the beetle onto it.
Lastly I added the sentiment piece.
For my second card I also used a patterned paper as my front panel. I adhered a journaling card onto it, a Santa and lights string die-cuts as well as the sentiment which I foam mounted.
Lastly I added rhinestones (red and green) onto the card, the O letter of the sentiment and in the middle of the present bow.
For my last card the recipe is similar – patterned paper, a journaling card. I picked one with the tree “woods” and added a reindeer die-cut “flying” above the woods.
To finish off the card I added a sentiment sticker and red rhinestones (notice the one that I turned into the deer nose).
