FLORAL FEEL BETTER CARD

Loving so much the new floral stamp set – Antique Roses. I made a classic floral feel better card using this set.

Two roses I made in two shades of purple (the bigger ones) and two smaller I made in pink. I stamped them onto a white cardstock and then die-cut using the matching dies.

Leaves were stamped using traditional green colors and die-cut as well.

I assembled the floral cluster on a white panel, which I previously dry embossed using the Tree Ring Stencil. After that I foam mounted the panel onto a green card base.

The sentiment i white embossed onto a green cardstock strip and popped it onto the card. Which finished it off. I could add some embellishments but decided not to. As those gorgeous roses don’t need anything else to embellish them.

MONOCHROMATIC FOLK ART

Making this card was a lot of fun. It almost doesn’t include stamping. I love good old stamping more than anything else. Definitely more than coloring (that’s why you don’t see a lot of coloring from me), more than die-cutting. With this being said – I love making cards with just die-cutting. So I don’t need to pull out dozens of inks to stamp one flowers and (more important) I don’t have to take a trip to a bathroom to wet my absorber lol.

I used the new Polish Papercuts 3D Die Set here.

I die-cut the elements from blue cards of three different shades and some were die-cut out of white.

After die-cutting I layered each element and adhered all of them onto a white card base forming folk art design.

Lastly I stamped a sentiment directly onto the card, which finished it off.
