Hello friends!
Today I’m sharing three cards made with the Spellbinders July Card Kit – Shellebrate. This kit is very undersea and mermaids oriented. That’s what people usually do this time of year.
The kit content: Dies, Sentiments, Paper, Envelopes & Embellishments. Contains at least 45 pieces and will create up to 10 complete cards!
PROJECTS
I made three very fun and colorful cards using this set.
For my first card I used a panel made out of a patterned paper from the pad in the kit, which I adhered onto a panel of a bigger size, which in turn was adhered onto a white card base. I made a half of a mermaid using the die set and popped onto the card.
I also added a sentiment Die Cut Shape and several gems to accentuate the card.
On the card below I made a undersea party. Really wanted to use that Shellebrate sentiment from the stamp set. I created the scene on a patterned paper using Die Cut Shapes.
What kind of party is it if there are no party hats? I made them by cutting off parts of starfishes and a seashell and then adding tiny circle die-cuts to some of them as pom-poms.
For my last card I made a mermaid scene using a patterned paper, both Die Cut Shapes and Foam Stickers, as well as gems as additional accents.
