GALAXY MANDALA

For my first card I used the new Delicate Mandala Die. It’s interesting how a couple years ago I didn’t care about mandalas at all and couldn’t understand the point of drawing them. And now I cannot get enough of those.

This card was pretty simple and quick to make. First I adhered some Galaxy Washi Tape onto a white card base.

I wanted to have a Galaxy background. I could make my own watercolor one for example. But of course using washi tape is much easier (and I’m not talking about the fact that I wound’t be able to make myself a background as cool as the washi design).

Next I die-cut the Mandala out of a white cardstock and adhered it onto the card.

Lastly I popped a sentiment from the Birthday Builder Stamp Set which I white embossed onto a black cardstock and cut out with my scissors.

DAINTY BLOOMS

My next card had the new Dainty Blooms Cover Die as its main player.

First I made an ink blended gradient panel using (from top to bottom) the Dew Drops, Aqualicious, Espresso and Mocha Dye Ink. Then I added some Pure White Ink Spray splatters onto the panel.

I die-cut the Dainty Blooms Cover Die out of a white cardstock, trimmed its edges and adhered onto the panel. Which in turn was foam mounted onto a white card base.

Lastly I added a sentiment strip (also made with the Birthday Builder Stamp Set) and several Snow and Ocean Wave Crystals.

4TH OF JULY

The next product I used in this release is an awesome Layered Stars Die Set. The set has three dies to die-cut a cluster of stars of three different sizes and all three clusters can be layered to create kind of a star tunnel effect. As you can guess looking at the card below I used it to make a 4th of July card.

I die-cut the bigger stars out of a Bazzill Whirlypop Cardstock panel. Then I die-cut the middle sized stars out of a white cardstock and the smaller ones out of a Bazzill Rock Peppermint Cardstock. I trimmed the white and red panels so they fir under the blue one and adhered all pieces together. Then I foam mounted the panel onto a white card base.

 

I finished of the starry design by adhering several star die-cuts onto the card.

Lastly I added a sentiment made using the Land Of The Free Stamp Set.

You can see that using this set you can get stars of three different sizes, as well as you can get a “star outline” die-cut (by die-cutting a smaller design and then the next bigger one). This set is very versatile and everyone needs at least one star die sets of course. For many different occasions.
