PEN SKETCH MANDALA

For my first card I used the new Pen Sketch Mandala Stamp Set. I think mandala doesn’t need a special introduction. There are so many ways it can be used. This time I decided to color it.

So first I stamped it onto a white panel using a light ink and my MISTI.

Next I colored the mandala using the Artist Markers. I wasn’t very colorful with coloring trying to stay within lines. As after coloring I placed the panel back into the MISTI and stamped over using the Obsidian Pigment Ink – extremely black and very well stamping ink. Which colored all stamping imperfections.

After that I foam mounted the panel onto a white card base.

Next I stamped a sentiment from the Birthday Builder Stamp Set in black on white, cut it out with my scissors and popped it onto the card.

Lastly I added several clear sequins.

LEAF CLUSTERS

For my next card I used the Leaf Clusters Stamp Set. This set is very beautiful and I very versatile. I used it to make a simple sympathy card.

I started by blending some Purple Wine and Puffy Heart Dye Inks onto a white panel.

Next I stamped some kind of a leaf canopy in the top part using the Cosmic Berry and Purple Wine Dye Inks.

After that I adhered the panel onto a white card base.

Lastly I stamped a sentiment from the Leaf Medallion Stamp Set onto a white strip and adhered it onto the card.

FOREVER IN LOVE

For my next card I used the very beautiful rose cluster from the new Forever In Love Stamp Set.

I stamped it onto a watercolor panel using a very light ink. Then I did no line coloring using the Watercolor 36 Pan Set. I used the #2 brush for coloring.

After I finished with coloring I added splatters of pink and green watercolor onto the panel and then foam mounted it onto a Parchment card base.

Next I white embossed a sentiment from the Birthday Builder Stamp Set onto a Parchment strip and popped it onto the card.

Lastly I added several clear droplets.

MID-CENTURY FRAME

My last card is a quite unusual for me. It has the Sun in it lol (I usually don’t do Sun haha). Here I used the new Mid-Century Frame Die. Which is an amazing round sunburst art deco-ish frame (quite trendy right now). And if you cut it in half it looks like raising Sun.

I made a panel out of a watercolor panel and made a simple green watercolor wash in the middle part of it. I added splatters as well for more interest. In the top part I made a blue with yellow watercolor wash (trying to make the yellow one in a half circle of the corresponding to the frame die size).

I die-cut the frame out of a Jet Black Carscdtock, cut it in half and adhered over the yellow wash.

Then in the bottom part I adhered several white die-cuts of the Create-A-Wreath Die Set.

Then I adhered a white and black strip between the bottom and top sections and foam mounted the panel onto a white card base.

Lastly I popped a sentiment and added several clear sequins.
