Hello and welcome to Altenew Build-A-Flower: Daffodil Release Blog Hop + Giveaway.
We’re celebrating the release of the new beautiful Build-A-Flower set, sharing ideas and inspiration along the way. And as usual you can win a prize on each stop.
For some unknown reason daffodils are associated in my mind with a night scene under a galactic sky. So I didn’t think even a second of how I can use this set.
Thanks to the amazing Nebula Washi Tape making the galaxy took me like a minute or so. I just adhered a piece of this washi onto a white card base.
Then I went ahead and stamped a bunch of flowers, leaves, steps. Totally therapeutic activity. I made flowers of two color schemes. Yellow with orange and yellow with white (for those I was skipping some layers).
After stamping I die-cut all elements using the matching dies.
I adhered all of them onto the card, forming a group of flowers kind of growing out of a ground.
Added a sentiment stripe, several clear droplets and silver confetti to finish off the card.

I am going to love this blog hop because yellow is my favorite color in the whole wide world. Guess what daffodils are? One of my favorite yellow flowers. We used to have them in our back yard. The lady who owned our house with her hubby was a gardener. We don’t have them anymore because the mutant ninja squirrels dug them all up. Boy was I sad because I really looked forward to spring & those flowers. That being said, I love, love, love, love your card! It is so yellow! When I win, I am going to get the daffodils but only the stamps. I don’t have a die cutter. I also want your Washi Tape! I love Washi Tape but I especially love yours.
