Simon Says Stamp | STAMPtember

Hi friends!

It’s STAMPtember! A month long celebration which we stampers cannot miss. Yesterday Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember release was revealed. There are so many wonderful supplies. Many of them made my list. Cannot wait to see all collaborations.

Today I’m joining an EPIC STAMPtember Party where dozens designers share their creations using new STAMPtember products.

I was lucky to play with the new Big Picture Book Lion Die. This is one die which die-cuts all details are the same die and you can then inlay them. I made two cards using this die. Which is so cute so the cards turned out to be cute as well.

YOU RULE

For my first card I die-cut the lion out of dark yellow cardstock (the one I was using is discontinued already, but of course any similar color cardstock will work).

The lion mane was inked with Carved Pumpkin Oxide Ink and then sprayed with water to add some texture. After oxide ink reacted with water I blotted it with a paper towel.

I colored the eyes and nose with black marker and added highlights with a white pen.

I made a card base out of green cardstock and stamped Simon Says Stamp Leaves Background Stamp onto it with Versamark Watermark Ink.

I assembled the lion on a piece of cardstock of a smaller size and popped onto the card. The sentiment made suing word stickers finished off the card.

LOVE OUR LIFE TOGETHER

For my second card I used the gender opportunity that is probably exists only in case of lion. As a lion without a mane is a lioness.

I die-cut the die twice out of light yellow cardstock. Ans also I die-cut it twice out of white cardstock.

I’ve inked one yellow mane with Carved Pumpkin Oxide Ink, sprayed with water and lifted up the moved ink with a paper towel.

I colored the white eyes, noses and ear inside in pink with COPICs. White highlights were added to the eyes and noses. I also made a cure bow for the girls (to make her more feminine).

I made a panel out of white cardstock, blended Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide Ink onto it, sprayed with water, lifted up the moved ink.

Then the lions were assembled and adhered onto the card. I made a sentiment using Simon Says Stamp Kristina’S Love Stamp And Die Set.

Lastly I added several Snow Crystals.
