Altenew • Build-A-Flower: Rose Release + Giveaway

Extremely beautiful Altenew Build-A-Flower: Rose in brown and olive. on woodgrain background. Card by @craftwalks

Hello there!

Today is Altenew Build-A-Flower product of the month mini-release. This month it’s Build-A-Flower: Rose. It’ll be only available as a bundle, stamp and die sets won’t be sold separately.

This month, our Build-A-Flower series is honoring the rose! Roses are heart-stoppingly beautiful, and their aroma is equally show-stopping. With such an impressive presence, it is no wonder that roses have symbolized some powerful elements throughout human history. We tried to capture the timeless beauty of this flower by giving it extra depth with six layers. Achieve a realistic look with this Rose set which is a must-have for every flower lover!

Altenew is celebrating this mini release sharing inspiration from design team and also by giving away certificates to Altenew store.

Altenew has released a lot of amazing and very beautiful floral stamp set. But the realistic ones for my opinion are what Altenew is very loved for. And I think everyone loves Vintage Rose Stamp Set. It was one of my first sets from Altenew (which by the ways wasn’t so easy to purchase back then, it was being sold out right after coming back to stock). And this month product of the month is like a big brother of my favorite set. And this one has 6 layers, which makes it incredibly realistic!

Got my card today I went a quite neutral color combo. I stamped the rose using 5 shades of brown and black and its leaves using olive colors onto a Solar White Cardstock. The I die cut all of them using the matching dies from the set.

I then adhered them together and foam mounted onto a Powder Woodgrain Cardstock panel, which I slightly inked before using Sand Dunes Ink.

I stamped the sentiment below the flower (you can see that even though the woodgrain cardstock is embossed – you still can get a decent stamped sentiment) foam mounter the panel onto a white card base.

Several wooden dots finished off the card.

This is just so pretty! It’s not something I would come up with on my own, but it is just beautiful! Wonder what it would look like in cool grays….Hmmmmmmm! Do all crafters look at something and think ‘what if I did……?’–or is it just me? Anyway, it’s beautiful. Thank you.

The tan color is very different and give the card a more serious look. Perfect for sympathy or get well. Amazing how color can cha.ge something so intensely.

So coming to my FRIEND STORY for this lucky giveaway-
I have a friend from South Korea, her name is Amy! She is such kind hearted person.( And a cherry on a cake, She has these two sweet, cute li’l dolls too. Hehe)

She is going back to Korea in December. and I wanted to make a “KOREAN THANK YOU CARD” or scrapbook for her to adore our friendship forever. Hence I was looking for some ideas on Pinterest. That’s when I came across May’s blog and from her to keeway’s and then yours (I didn’t find thank you card there though, but love you card in Korean)
