Altenew • Build-A-Flower: Anemone Release + Giveaway

Altenew Build-A-Flower Anemone. Cards by @craftwalks

Hello there!

Today is 15th and that means that there is new Altenew Build-A-Flower product released. This month it’s Build-A-Flower: Anemone. It’ll be only available as a bundle, stamp and die sets won’t be sold separately.

Altenew is celebrating this mini release sharing inspiration from design team and also by giving away certificates to Altenew store.

BLUE AND GOLD

For my first card I decided to go blue and gold color combo. I think there two match together perfectly to create a gorgeous result.

I stamped the flower using Desert Night Ink onto a Solar White Cardstock and die-cut them. The leaves were gold embossed using Antique Gold Embossing Powder and die-cut as well.

I made an A2 card out of Navy Cardstock and gold embossed a sentiment from the set in the bottom right corner. Followed by adhering the flowers and leaves to form a floral cluster. Some elements I adhered flat and some foam mounted.

To accentuate my card I added several gold sequins.

PINK AND GRAY

For my second card I decided to more soft and elegant way.

This is one-layer card, which doesn’t happen with me very often. I did all stamping onto a white card base.

Flowers are stamped using Frosty Pink  and Rose Quartz inks. I skipped stamping the bottom solid layer to make them lighter. Leaves and flower middle parts are stamped using Limestone and Silver Stone inks.  I used masking paper to mask off overlapping areas.

The sentiment was stamped in the bottom right part part of the card base and several clear droplets finished off my card.

WOW, (seems to be the word of the day with this flower) but it is so gorgeous and each and every card so far is amazing. Svitlana, I love that even though you have used two totally different colours BOTH are AWESOME. A very versatile set.
