Hello and Happy New Year! I’m continuing my City Walks Christmas in New York series, sharing holiday decoration of this year.

Previous posts of this series:

This post will be the last one in this year series. Which is obvious, as holidays are more then over.  I had some photos on my camera which I never shared and was hesitating if I need to share them, as it’s kind of late for such content. But some of those photos took me some effort to take and I didn’t want all that to be a waste.

I’m starting with some stores of 5th Avenue.

These windows were actually a selling factor for creating this post. If you were in NYC, you may know that Tiffany store is next door to Trump Tower. For obvious reasons this place is very busy now. There are always TV people with cameras and equipment and this side of the block is blocked by the police constantly.  If you want to go inside the tower or just visit a store on this block (there are a couple more fancy stores now) you need to go through police control. Nothing special, in my case they only checked my bag, but still. And you can only get inside this blocked area from one side. So it took me some effort to even get to windows, after that I just had to share them haha. Besides, they’re always so cute and tiny!
I cropped photos to the main part. But it’s only the center part of a big window. All these elements are very small. As you can tell be the jewelry items on the plates

Maybe they had some kind of coating on this window. here you can see a scene of Rockefeller garden and tree.

It’s a whimsical boutique on 57th between 5th and 6th Ave specializing in ceramics & enamelware and other upscale home decor & gifts. I believe their Courtly Check (black and white one) is the most recognizable.
Their windows basically made out of items they sell.

Our next stop is Anthropologie at Rockefeller Center plaza. They don’t write the theme on windows usually, but this year I think the theme is “bits and pieces of snowflake designer/tailor life”

Your photographs are amazing. We celebrate Christmas ’til Dec. 6 in the tradition of epiphany and the twelve days of Christmas and don’t take our decorations down ’til then. So these are approprate and were too good not to share.

Thanks SO much for the tour, Svitlana! I love the old comfort and luxury feel of RL and all the window displays are such a treat to see. These are fabulous representative of Commercial Art!
