Wood cards

Hi guys!

Showing two cards I made for a new challenge in a blog I design for. The challenge is to create  a CAS card using wood (anything wood-related, from a stamp design to a wood embellishment).
The first card’s base was just craft cardstock. And then there were embossing, stamping, inking, ironing off the embossing, die-cutting, creating DIY chipboard, die-cuts inlaying. And I got the card that looks sooo woody 🙂

The butterfly was cut from a white cardstock and then colored with sprays (and I have another vellum butterfly underneath). The same sprays I used to create these blue splashes. Realized that these SSS butterflies are my fave from all I have (or seen). They’ re perfect.
