DELICATE PRIMROSE
For my first card I used very beautiful Delicate Primrose Stamp Set.
I feel a bit weird when make flower cards in the middle of winter. Color scheme wise. As flowers in my mind are not really applicable to winter. The only color wave that seems logical is something cold. So for my first card I went with a cold color scheme of blue, gray and white, which in fact one of my favorite for any season really.
So I stamped the flowers from the new set using blue inks. And die-cut them with the matching dies.
I also die-cut several elements out of a white cardstock using the Create-A-Wreath Die Set. This set is an oldie one, but goodie. Very useful when you need to add some die-cut greenery to your project.
I also grabbed a white frame from my stash, I recently am trying to utilize more all those die-cuts, background and stamped images stored to “use one day”.
I foam mounted a Pale Gray panel onto a white card base and adhered all mentioned elements onto it, forming this kind of wreath with only bottom part filled with elements (in the design world such wreathes seem to be very trendy currently).
Lastly I added a sentiment ans several Snow Crystals.
RUFFLED FLOWERS
My second card featured another very beautiful floral set – Ruffled Flowers.
This card was so quick and simple to make. First I made the blue panel by applying the light blue ink direct to paper.
Then I stamped a flower bunch twice in the left top and right bottom corners of the panel. I only added layers to the flowers, leaving the leaves just outlined.
Next I stamped another bunch in the right top and left bottom corners. Here I only used the outline image.
I added Dusk Ink Spray splatters and adhered the panel onto a white card base.
Next I die-cut Simple Hello die-cut twice out of white and blue cardstock and adhered together with a slight shift. After which it was foam mounted onto the card.
Lastly I added several Midnight Blue Crystals.
BED OF ROSES AND MEGA LOVE
For my third card I wend with less blue color scheme (actually pretty much less blue, not blue at all). I used the new mini Bed Of Roses Stamp Set and Mega Love Die.
The card is very simple too. One of those designs that became a staple for me.
I white embossed roses in the bottom part of a white panel, I stamped the mini background in a kind of triangle manner. Then I blended some pink ink onto the panel.
Next I die-cut the Mega Love out of the panel as well as several times out of a red cardstock.
The panel after that was adhered onto a white card base, followed by adhering the love sentiment. Which I made by stacking all die-cut with the panel die-cut on top.
Several Snow Crystals finished off the card.

I guess you have to live in So. Florida for it to not feel weird to have flowers in the winter. We have so many that bloom this time of year since we just don’t get a lot of cold. But the Camelias love the cold to bloom. Your cards are all beautiful!!

Rebecca – lol! I will never live in Florida. I actually wanna move somewhere close to Canada. I love when it’s cold, snowy and all that beautiful stuff. I’m a very seasonal person and flowers usually don’t fit into my winter mood. But as cardmakers we have to use flowers all year around 🙂
