DANDELION WISHES
My first card is very simple and light as the images from the set I was using were. The new Dandelion Wishes Stamp Set is very elegant and realistic and it stole my heart from the moment I saw it.
I went with a Parchment Cardstock for the card base. The dandelion heads were white embossed.
The stems I first stamped using a white pigment ink and then stamped over with the Evergreen and Forest Glades Dye Ink.
Lastly I added several Snow Crystals to accentuate the card and popped a sentiment stamped in green onto a white stripe.
WILD FERNS
For my next card I used the new amazing Wild Ferns Stamp and Die Bundle.
First I stamped several fern leaves onto a white cardstock using the new green inks: Firefly, Grass Field, Shadow Creek and Mountain Pine. After stamping I die-cut them with the matching dies.
I made a panel out of watercolor paper and made a quick watercolor background onto it using the Lagoon paint from Altenew Watercolor Pan Set.
I first wet the panel with clean clear water, dropped the paint onto it and let it move along with water. Then I added some platters to make the background more interesting. Next I foam mounted the panel onto a white card base.
I adhered the fern leaves onto the card forming kind of a wreath.
Next I popped a sentiment white embossed on black onto the card and added several Onyx Crystals to finish off the card.
LEAF MEDALLION
For my last card I used the new Leaf Medallion Stamp Set. This set has 5 co-concentric leaf layers which can help you to create as multi color medallion as you want. I went with another approach. I’m not a very multi color person, I’m more a “clear embossing resist” person.
So for my card I first create a fall watercolor background onto a watercolor panel. By adding to the wet panel red, orange and yellow liquid watercolor using the Altenew Watercolor Markers.
I let the panel dry completely and clear embossed the medallion onto it. I used double stamping (and double embossing) of each stamp to get better embossing coverage. After that I covered the panel with a brown watercolor, followed by inking the edges with the new Milk Chocolate Dye Ink. Brown watercolor layer added an unevenness to the background and with the ink blending I made it more intense.
After that I foam mounted the panel onto a white card base.
I die-cut a word hugs out of a Gold Mirror and White cardstock, adhered the die-cuts one onto another with a slight shift and then adhered them onto the card.
Several Gold Crystals finished off the card.
