Fun Stampers Journey and Spellbinders are coming together

Hi friends,

Today I want to share two fall cards made for the exciting event – Fun Stampers Journey and Spellbinders coming together.

Here is some info about Fun Stampers Journey:

I made two very fall cards using Fun Stampers Journey Thankful Friends Stamp Set (along with the set of the matching dies) and dies from Spellbinders.

CUTE SQUIRREL

First I stamped a cute squirrel from the mentioned set onto a white cardstock. I use my MISTI for stamping and several orange inks of different shades to add highlights and shades to it. After that I die-cut it using the matching die.

I also stamped a sentiment and die-cut it. And several leaves, which I fussy cut.

Next I moved to creating a fall foliage background. I die-cut Spellbinders Blessings Vine Frame Die out of orange cardstock. Then I inked white cardstock with the Spiced Marmalade Oxide Ink, oxidized it by adding water splatters and die-cut the same frame die out of it too.

Then I adhered the oxidized framed onto the orange one with a slight rotation. And trimmed the parts of the bottom frame which were sticking out of the edges of the top one. I also trimmed the frame sides off on the left and right to add more interest.

I made a card base out of the same orange cardstock and adhered the foliage element onto it.

I finished assembling the card by adhering the squirrel with a leaves bouquet and the sentiment onto the card. I also tucked several leaves under the frame die cut leaves here and there. And several enamel dots finished off the card.

CUTE FOX

For my second card I used the very cute fox from the set. So elegant and adorable! I stamped it the same way as the squirrel – using three shades of orange inks. And die-cut it using the matching die.

The sentiment was stamped using the same inks in ombre graduation onto a wide stripe of a white cardstock.

I die cut several leaves out of orange and yellow cardstock using a die from the Spellbinders Wreath Elements Die Set.

After that I assembled the focal element by adhering all previously created elements together.

I made a card base out of kraft cardstock and stamped the background of leaves and acorns onto it. Using the stamps from the Fun Stampers Journey Thankful Friends Stamp Set and light brown inks.

Lastly I foam mounted the focal element onto the card.
