Tracey McNeely’s 25 days of Christmas Tags event – Altenew

Hello friends!

You probably heard about Tracey McNeely’s 25 days of Christmas Tags event.

If you like making tags for Christmas presents – you definitely should follow this event along. Each day designers share tags featuring different companies.

Today is the Altenew day and I’m sharing two tags made with Altenew supplies. Don’t forget to check out the Altenew blog to see the amazing tags other designers created.

WHITE AND KRAFT CLASSIC

For my first card I used the Layered Snowflakes Die Set. I made a tag out of a Parchment Cardstock and sprayed it with the Pure White Ink Spray.

After that I white embossed a sentiment in the bottom part of it.

I die-cut several snowflakes out of a white cardstock and adhered them onto the tag. The snowflakes are pretty intricate, I was using the Stick It adhesive when was die-cutting them so the adhesive was already applied to the back side of die-cuts and it was very easy to adhered them.

Which I finished off by adding a white ribbon.

This tag was very fast and easy to make. The snowflakes and the classic of kraft + white made all job for me 🙂

RED AND GREEN CLEAN CLASSIC

For my next tag I used the Peaceful Wreath Stamp Set. This set is very easy to align, it doesn’t have so many layers, yet the result is very beautiful and classic.

I stamped the wreath onto a white tag first. And stamped the sentiment after that.

I added added a red ribbon to the tag. On this point it was already ready and you can totally stop on this point.

i wanted to add a bit on interest though, so I added glossy accent to all berries. This part made the tag making time longer of course. But it can be done in between of other activities, even if you mass producing tags of such design.

One piece of advice – for those berries which are located next one to another I was adding the glossy accents to a berry, put it aside to dry and then was glossy accenting a berry next to it. Otherwise, if I added the glossy accent to all berries in a group they would bleed together forming one shapeless blob.

So here my two ideas of Christmas tags for this year Altenew day at the Tracey McNeely’s 25 days of Christmas Tags event.
