STAMPtember | Tim Holtz Exclusive

Hi friends!

Today I’m very excited to participate in another STAMPtember exclusive release. And today it’s Tim Holtz’s! Yay!

I was honored to play with the exclusive set of stamps and stencils

Today I’m sharing three cards made using them.

COZY PLAID

There is a very cool stripe stencil that comes with the set. It’s a shifter stencil, it has marks which help to move it along and align along already inked area to make a perfect pattern.

I made a cozy background by inking a white panel through the stencil with Peeled Paint Oxide Ink. It looks so fuzzy, like a plaid throw pillow.

I wrapped the panel with a dual twine and foam mounted it onto a white card base.

I stamped a sentiment using a stamp from the set using Peeled Paint and Candied Apple Oxide Ink onto a white square cardstock. And I blended Candied Apple Oxide Ink onto another square, a bit bigger than the sentiment piece.

I them popped the white piece onto the red one, which in turned was popped onto the card.

BUFFALO PLAID

What is great about this striped stencil I used for the previous card is that it can be used to easily make two-colored background.

I made a buffalo plaid panel using Candied Apple and Black Soot Oxide Inks and adhered it onto a white card base.

Then I stamped several holly leaves using a stamp from the set, colored them with Distress markers and fuzzy cut with my scissors.

I also stamped a sentiment from the set onto a white narrow panel. Which I popped onto the card placing the holly leaves underneath.

WINTER TIT

The set has a beautiful stamp of a tit on a pine branch. Well I assume it’s a tit. I love those birds, they are associated with winter for me.

I stamped it onto a white panel, masked the bird and inked over with Bundled Sage and Tumbled Glass Distress Inks.

Then I colored the tit with Distress Markers.  I white embossed a sentiment in the bottom part of the panel, added “snow”with a white pen and popped the panel onto a white card base.
