BUILD-A-FLOWER ANEMONE CORONARIA
This new set is another floral beauty, it has two flowers, several leaves, buds and stems in both outline stamps as well as there is one layering stamp to add some shading. And it always is with Build-A-Flower sets – there is a set of matching dies that comes with the stamp set.
PROJECT
I’m a big fan of ink and stamping is my favorite thing to do. And when there is a layering stamp in a set I usually always opt for stamping versus coloring (despite the popularity of coloring nowadays).
With that being said this time I decided to go with watercoloring, exploring recently released Altenew Watercolor Set.
I white embossed several flowers and colored them with Mountain Mist and Pink Diamond watercolor pans. After that I die-cut them.
I also white embossed and die-cut several leaves.
I made a panel out of the same watercolor panel with a teared bottom edge and colored it in very light warm gray using the Industrial Diamond watercolor pad.
And I also die-cut word FRIEND using dies from the Fine Alphabet Die Set.
I made a panel out of Solar White Cardstock and foam mounted the panel onto it. After which I adhered all my elements onto the panel.
I glued FRIEND word in that manner which is very popular now, when big letters are kind of located between petals of a flower cluster. My letters don’t really do it, they’re just on top. But I hop I was able to replicate the idea.
Lastly I popped a sentiment white embossed onto a black cardstock and added several Onyx Crystals.
