Motion Crafts Blog Hop + Giveaway (GIVEAWAY)

PULL SLIDER

I made a fun slider using Pull Slider Die Set and Fox and Friends Stamp Set.

The Pull Slider Die Set will cut you all details needed to quick and easy create a pull slider. I encourage you to check out the Video Tutorial on Motion Crafts Youtube channel to see how to assemble this slider.It’s very easy and straightforward and the tutorial is very clear and detailed.

For my card I modified the slider a bit as needed a horizontal one with longer window. As I really wanted to stack cute critters from Fox and Friends Stamp Set one onto another 😉

I made a gif so you can see how it works.

I achieved it by partial die-cutting with the dies from the set. The front panel window I made a big longer. And the slider mechanism I made narrower, but longer (in other words I made it smaller in width and bigger in height).

I stamped tree animation critters onto a white card base using brown, orange and gray inks. After stamping each critter I clear embossed it. Which allowed me to blend blue and green inks onto the background, as the critters were protected with clear embossing.

I also blended some blue and green inks (I used Distress Oxides) onto the front panel, followed by adding some water and ink splatters, to add some interest.

I stamped, colored and die-cut three critters from the set and adhered them onto the card. Along with the sentiment which was white embossed on a black stripe.

Different embellishments (sequins, crystals, clear drops) finished off my card.

DOUBLE SLIDER

And I made another card using Double Slider Die Set and Bee Happy Stamp Set.

I made a very bee-centric card using these products 😉

I die-cut all elements out of white cardstock, except of two tabs, which I die-cut out of black one.

Then I made the bee comb background by first inking the front panel with lighter yellow ink and then blending a darker shade through hexagons stencil.

In addition to placing bees onto slider elements I also stamped, colored and die cut one more to foam mount it onto the card. Along with a couple of mushrooms, which are incredible cute and hard to resist using them on a card 😉
