CROSS STITCH FLOWER
For my first card I used new amazing Cross Stitch Flower Stamp Set and the set of matching dies.
I wanted to create a look of a flowers stitched on neutral fabric. First I “die-cut” a pierced design using Cross Stitch Flower Die Set on a Solar White panel. This die doesn’t cut, it simply pierce a cardstock.
Then I stamped the flower using pink and green inks (linked below). Unlike many other Altenew flowers layers of this one don’t overlap, but lay one next to another. And it’s very easy to follow the pattern. For each layer after stamping in color I was stamping over with embossing ink and clear embossing the layer.
The sentiment I stamped also in pink, creating gradient look. First stamping it in lighter ink, then applying darker one on the bottom part and stamping over one more time. Or course I did this using a stamp positioning tool.
After I finished stamping flower and sentiment I inked the whole panel with Rocky Shore Ink. And then added some splatters of Pure White Ink Spray.
Lastly I popped up the panel onto a white card base.
HOPE
For the next card I used very beautiful Hope Stamp Set.
The card is very simple. First I stamped the flower, buds and leaves onto a white cardstock and die-cut them using matching dies.
Next I die-cut a panel out of Navy Cardstock using Dotted Scales Debossing Cover Die.
I popped the panel onto a white card base and adhered the flower composition in its left bottom corner.
I die-cut the sentiment twice out of Navy and Solar White cardstock and adhered them together with a slight shift. After that I adhered it onto the card. I shoved the white part of the sentiment under the flower as you can see from the picture. I didn’t like how it looked overlapped with the flower. In fact i only needed the white part so the die-cut didn’t blend in with the panel of the same color.
The set of the sentiment was stamped onto a white stripe and foam mounted onto the card below the hope word.
Lastly I added several white crystals.
FLAT AND FOLD ALPHAS
For my last card was used a very interesting Flat & Fold Alpha Die Set. Some dies in this set only cut a half of a letter and made a score line. So you can fold it from inside out.
For the front panel of my card I used a sheet of patterned paper from New Day Card Kit with rainbow design. And I die-cut the phrase HELLO FRIEND out of it, placing it the design side down. The back side was white and I inked it with Jet Black Ink to make black.
I cut a panel out of another sheet of patterned paper, which striped design, there were just black stripes on white initially. I colored it using Altenew Artist markers to follow the rainbow pattern.
Next I adhered the striped panel onto a card base and adhered the black one on top of it, folding die-cut letters inside.
To finish off the card I added several enamel dots, also from New Day Card Kit.
