If was very hard to choose which set to use for this blog hop, as I love them all. I decided to pick up the one which was released in NovemberBuild-A-Flower: Gardenia.

Altenew Build-A-Flower- Gardenia. Project by @craftwalks. #card #altenew #altenewbuildaflower #cardmaking #masking

I started by stamping the floral design in the top part of a white panel. I used Cosmic Berry, Purple Wine and Puffy Heart inks for flowers, Evergreen, Forest Glades and Frayed Leaf for leaves. To prevent overlapping I was covering each element with masks made out of making paper.

Altenew Build-A-Flower- Gardenia. Project by @craftwalks. #card #altenew #altenewbuildaflower #cardmaking #masking

I made a panel out of white cardstock and blended Cosmic Berry ink onto the top and top sides of it (corresponding the flowers on the panel), as well as Evergreen ink was blended onto the sides, matching leaves on the panel.

I stamped a gradient sentiment in the bottom part using Cosmic Berry and Purple Wine inks and stamp positioning tool.

After that the panel was foam mounted onto the card base. Several Sparkling Crystals finished off the card.

When I win I want to get this stamp set so I can do what you did. I love how you stamped the flowers on the top of the card stock and then stuck the leaves below. That looks so cool and so different. I’d like to try this on scrap paper first to make sure it comes out like yours. I have plenty of scrap paper from my mom’s office. Waste not, want not. You have given me so many ideas! I love this hop because I got so many ideas for cards. For next Christmas I want to make a bunch of all occasion cards for my sisters and this would be so nice for that.
