Hi friends,
Today I want to share a quick and simple card made using a new die from the recent Simon Says Stamp release – O Holy Night.
This card was very quick and simple to make. I wanted to give all attention to the die itself, which I love a lot! I love all sentiments from Simon designed by Kristina Werner.
To start off I made a panel out of navy cardstock and added some splatters with silver spray.
Then I die-cut the sentiment out of Silver Mirror cardstock from Tonic. I already had and worked with Gold Mirror cardstock and really wanted to try some other colors and was happy to find out that Tonic has them in other colors.
Next I adhered the sentiment onto the card base. And to finish off the card I wrapped some thin silver thread around the front part of the card at the top. Before I only used such thread to make a “tangled nest” to place behind an element of a card. But I think I works well for wrapping around the card.
