Studio Katia • Using Burlap On A Card

Hi crafty friends!

Fall is one of my favorite seasons. Although who doesn’t love fall? Intense nature colors, harvest, fall activities and holidays, incredible coziness, pumpkin spice latte – who wouldn’t love all these?

My card today includes a bit of everything listed above.

I grabbed several pumpkins from Meowy Halloween Stamp Set, colored them with COPICs and die-cut using matching dies from Meowy Halloween Die Set.

I made an A2 card base out of dark brown cardstock and adhered a burlap panel onto it. Following by adhering a pumpkin pile in the middle of it.

I die-cut a thanks word using a die from Giving Thanks Die Set out of both dark brown and white cardstock and adhered them below the pumkins a bit shifted one along another, to create kind of shadow. I should totally use only one die-cut, the brown one. But my card didn’t have any white elements, except the pumpkin margins, to tie these white margins with something else on a card I introduced some more white in the sentiment.

And I also stamped GIVING word onto a white strip of paper using a stamp from Giving Thanks Stamp Set and adhered it above the pumpkins to finish off the card.
