The Ton’s Fall 2017 Release Blog Hop

I have three cards today made using newly released products.

VINTAGE CLASSIC

The big star of this card is a new amazing stamp set – Christmas Tree Stamp Set. As a big lover of realistic stamp sets I very appreciate it. Look how natural this Christmas Tree looks!

The card is very simple in design and was very simple to create. All layers are so easy to align!

First I stamped the tree onto a rustic cream panel using two shades of green and brown inks.

And next I decorated it using small images from the set red embossed onto the tree. I stamped the sentiment using a stamp from Holly Branch Stamp Set and lastly foam mounted the panel onto a white card base.

NIGHT SCENE

It may sound silly but for many years I had been having an idea to create a card with several pine trees in the background and one in the front as a focal point. Mimicing the forest scene. The idea is not original at all and probably everybody else already tried it. But I still wanted to make it.

For this card I first inked a white panel with blue distress inks and added some water splatters to make inks move.

Next I stamped two trees on the sides using two shades of blue inks. I let the stamping to dry out completely before moving to the next step – heat embossing.

I embossed the tree using regular white embossing powder for the base layer, the puff embossing powder for the middle layer. And finally added some kind of branches by drawing them with Versamarker and then heat embossing using puff powder as well.

The sentiment from Christmas Wreath Builder was white embossed below and then I mounted the panel onto a white card base.

HOLLY BRANCH

This is probably my most favorite card from all three. And all credits go to the amazing Holly Branch Stamp Set. So beautiful and realistic!!

I started working by stamping several branches using two shades of red, two shades of green and the black for outlines. As all stamps from The Ton I had a chance to play with this one is extremely easy to align.

After I finished stamping I cut out all branches with my scissors.

I made an A2 card base and white embossed a couple of branch outlines in the top part of it. It maybe hard to notice them on the photo. But in real life they add and interesting and elegant touch.

Then I adhered all branches into the card base. As I usually do – some of them I adhered flat and some foam mounted.

To finish off the card I stamped the sentiment in the bottom right using red ink.

Here you have three cards made using products from the new release. I’m so excited, that holiday cardmaking has already started. So much fun and joy!!!
