I will be sharing 5 cards made using new products.
LAYERED DIE CUT ROSE
If you like die-cutting and like layered flowers – you should like the new Fantasy Floral Die Set. As I’m a big gray lover I decided to make gray roses using this set by die cutting layers out of Pale Gray, Real Gray and Dark Gray cardstock.
Also I die cut a sentiment using a die from Script Words Die Set.
I made two roses by adhering layers together and then adhered them along with leaves onto an A2 card base forming floral cluster.
Lastly I adhered the sentiment below. Very simple and pretty quick card. Well, not counting die-cutting time 🙂
ELEGANT LACE
New Doodled Lace Cover Die reminds me a beautiful lace. Which it actually is according to its name 🙂 If you want to create an elegant card (for any occasion, but mostly I see it in a wedding product) this cover die is something that you may want to consider.
For my card I first made two die cuts using this die out of Solar White Cardstock. And I also created an A2 card base out of Navy Cardstock.
I adhered one die cut panel flat onto the card base using liquid adhesive.
Then I took the second die cut panel and hand cut several elements out of it with my scissors. And I foam mounted them onto the card over the same element but a but rotated or shifted.
I die cut a sentiment out of both Solar White and Navy Cardstock using a die from Enchanted Iris Die Set and adhered them together with a small shift as well. To create some kind of shadow.
Lastly I adhered the sentiment onto the card.
FALL GRADIENT DIECUT INLAY
Another amazing cover plate that is released now is Striped Leaf. It has so many uses, I’m amazed by projects others designers created using this die. Since I’m already in a fall mood (cannot wait) of course I used this die to create a fall card. Although it can be suitable for any season.
First I created a gradient onto Solar White Cardstock using Ruby Red, Warm Sunshine and Firebrick inks. And die cut the striped leaf design out of this panel and saved all die cut pieces.
Next I made another die cut out of Woodgrain Bark Cardstock. I adhered this panel onto a white card base, and which before was covered generously with tape runner adhesive. I applied adhesive around the edges of the card base as well as created some kind of plaid of adhesive stripes.
Next I started inserting gradient inside pieces into their corresponding negative spaces. Since I had quite enough adhesive applied onto the card base I didn’t need to apply it onto these small pieces. Well, this was pretty long task, like solving a puzzle. I hadn’t realized to be honest how many pieces this cover plate creates 😉 I like spending time on card, plus it was totally worth it.
For the sentiment I first created the same ink gradient onto a piece of white cardstock (only using Ruby Red and Firebrick inks) and then die-cut a sentiment using a die from Script Words Die Set. And I die-cut it one more time out of brown cardstock. I adhered two sentiment pieces together followed by adhering them onto a card.
WOODGRAIN DIE-CUT INLAY NEGATIVE
After die-cutting the panel for the previous card I got a lot of inside pieces. Which I didn’t want to trow away and decided to create another card using them (another time-consuming puzzle-solving card hehe).
I made an A2 card base out of Parchment Cardstock, then grabbed the die-cut panel that I also had left from the previous card (the one with gradient) and taped it to the card base so it doesn’t move.
And then I inlaid all pieced in their negative places. I was applying liquid adhesive on each piece before inserting it.
After I finished inlaying all pieces I pressed them all down one more time but rubbing with my bone folder. And then carefully removed the panel die-cut ending up with this interesting and perfectly positioned striped leaves.
Lastly I foam mounted a sentiment made using Label Love Stamp Set and Espresso Ink. The sentiment is adhered using black foam squares, which match better.
TETRIS
The lase is featuring Building Block Stamp Set which totally reminds me tetris. So I simply couldn’t resist creating tetris scene using this set. First I stamped tetris block in the bottom part of a white card base using Pinkalicious, Tide Blue, Parrot, Maple Yellow, Autumn Blaze inks. And then I stamped everything that left white using Jet Black Ink. To get an intense black color I double stamped each time using my new beloved tool – Tim Holtz Stamp Platform.
Lastly I white embossed the sentiment using Thin And Thick Alpha Stamp Set and Pure White Embossing Powder. This card is not something of my style. But it happened to be so fun and colorful and makes me like it a lot and thinking about making more cards like this 🙂

Beautiful cards!! Love what you did with the doodled lace cover die! You get a completely different look when you double the pieces up like that and there’s endless possibilities just by doing this. Such an ingenius idea!! The striped leaf is one amazing die. I can’t imagine how long it took to inlay all the little pieces. So worth it though. It is beautiful! Such a good idea to put glue down on the ccardbase so you didn’t have to put glue on every single tiny inlaid piece. The tetris card is just fun!!
