Today is 15th and that means that there is new Altenew Build-A-Flower product released. This month it’s Build-A-Flower: Coral Charm. It’ll be only available as a bundle, stamp and die sets won’t be sold separately.
Altenew is celebrating this mini release sharing inspiration from design team and also by giving away certificates to Altenew store.
This month Build-A-Flower product is another very beautiful floral set. For my card using it I used one of my favorite color combos (which I haven’t used quite a while for some reason) – blue and browns. If you don’t hate these colors (which I personally cannot understand, but I can accept the fact it can be) – take a look at this combo. In my mind it’s always winning.
To start off I cut a panel out of Solar White cardstock and white embossed a background using outline images from the set.
Then I inked the panel using Sand Dunes Dye Ink and white embossed the sentiment in the right top part of the panel.
I stamped two flowers using Ocean Waves, Desert Night and Dusk inks, along with stamping several leaves using Rocky Shore and Mocha ink. I die-cut all elements then using the matching dies, that are included with this product.
I adhered the floral cluster in the bottom left part of the panel using mentioned flowers and leaves. Some were adhered flat, some – foam mounted.
To accentuate my card I added several dots here and there using white pen.
