Do you like coffee? I bet you do! I’m a big coffee addict. And as probably many of you I enjoy not only coffee itself but coffee culture too.

With this being said I’m missing coffee here in US. Because I got used to European style. Strong black espresso in a small ceramic cup with a paper doily on a saucer… Or sweet cappuccino with fluffy foam and Cappuccino Art on top made with cinnamon or cocoa powder… Also in a ceramic cup with paper doily on a saucer.. In a cozy cafe listening to calm music, reading book or just exploring old town in a window… That what coffee and coffee culture are for me. Big amount of coffee flavored liquid in a huge paper or plastic cup running around the city – not really ;))

Don’t get me wrong. I don’t judge. It’s just different coffee consuming cultures. I’ve been living in US for more 6 years now and there are a lot of truly American things that I got used to and they almost became natural for me. Coffee is something that keeps me connected to my European roots 🙂

Enough blabbing, let’s talk card. The idea of this design is not completely mine.

Several years ago I took Kick Start OCC where I learned that inspiration and ideas can be gotten from many sources. Since then I always pay attention on everything I see. An interesting design of a book my commute mate is reading, fun and unusual color combination on a skirt of that girl that is walking ahead of me, store windows, ads and so on.. And of course when I happen to browse Pinterest I always catch interesting pictures. It’s just became my habit.

Cannot say for sure, but I think I saw similar idea somewhere several years ago and it stuck in my head. Among many and many ideas caught the same manner. I like an idea of making the first letter of a word created of many small images. Like I did for C on a card.

First onto a white card base I stamped C letter using images from Coffee Love Stamp Set. I started stamping with bigger images, like cups and coffee makers.

Then masked them off and finished the letter using coffee beans. I did stamping using Dark Chocolate and Rocky Shore inks.

Next I took one sentiment from the set and only stamped OFFEE using it. To do this I simply covered all parts I didn’t want to be stamped with pieces of tape, inked the stamp, remove the tape and then stamp it. After that I stamped the top part of the sentiment using another stamp and doing partial stamping the same manner.

To finish off the card I added several Dark Walnut Nuvo drops.

This card was pretty easy to do. If skip masking (just allow elements to overlap) it can be even easily mass produced.
