Holiday Houses Pattern

Hi there! Quickly popping in to share simple cards made using Wplus9 Holiday Houses stamp set.

I’m not a very big fan of houses. Not like I hate them. It’s just not something I would buy in the first place. Or second place. But these ones I liked so much that got them right after they were released. The sentiment I took from Wplus9 Merry and Bright set.
A three cards are made with the same design. My MISTI stamping tool helped me here a lot. Although with this design you don’t need to be extremely precise. Just regular acrylic block would work here as well.

So the design is very simple. Two tone stamping, one layer (except of one card). I made several masks for houses, but it didn’t take much time to cut them out, so I still consider this design simple and quick.

I chose different color combos for these cards. Traditional red and green, a bit less traditional brown and blue and kind of unusual pink and blue (I’ve seen many Christmas cards using this combo recently and wanted to try it as well).For this card I took a step further by stamping aside several houses, cutting them out and foam mounting on top of the corresponding stamped one.
I should confess, this “step further” wasn’t my original design. I just forgot to apply mask on some houses haha. So needed to solve this problem somehow 😉 Almost always working with masking I have this problem – forgetting to apply it. Which sucks especially when a card is almost finished.

I rare making several cards at a time, with similar design. And here I’m glad I went this way 😉
