Hi there. Today I want to share Fall and Thanksgiving home decor I put up in our apartment this year.
I have a several spots which I decorate for each season. As I always mention when sharing my home decor – it’s a real passion for me, but as I gave another passion, cardmaking, where all my paychecks go, with home decor I try to stay on a budget and not to spend a lot of money on it. So mostly I buy decor items at a Dollar Tree (DT), thrift stores, on final sales (like in Michaels or Anthropologie) and something I DIY. For fall decor in particular I like adding items that I nature hunted, i.e. pine cones, acorns.
Wreath base and fall leaves garland wrapped around it, ribbon – DT. Frame – thrifted.
Felt maple leaf – a place mat from Bed Bath and Beyond. 
Fall picks, vases, pumpkins – DT, sisal – craft store, altered shoe (I used to make those), a ceramic mason jar and bucket – thrifted. 
Old book pedestal – DIY-ed, pumpkins, corn – DT.
I have a white Jack Lantern pumpkin, which I utilize for fall as well. On this point I just don’t have space to store two big pumpkins. So I cover it’s face with a burlap ribbon. Loose leaves are from DT as well. 
Here I decided to spray paint some pumpkins, to make them stand out on this red shelf.

So that was Fall and Thanksgiving home decor I have in our place this year 🙂
I know it’s kind of late to share fall decor, as in a week we’ll start decorating for Christmas. I still cannot find the right time when to put it up and share. I don’t do any decor in September as in October I decorate for Halloween. And after Halloween it seems like already late for fall. Unless you do it on November 1st. Which I rare do. I have a very busy schedule and it can take me a couple of days to remove one decor and a couple more days to put another one. Then I need to find time for taking photos and filming, and editing and writing posts. So as a result I always share my decor when it’s too late 🙂
If I was SAHM or just sitting at home and not working, I’d probably be able to do it on time:)
