Today I’m showing two nautical CAS cards I made for a blog I design for. We’re running a new challenge there.
The first one is more ..strict I’d say. And all wooden. And all “made from scratch without any PP”. I have a LOT of PP and have problems using it. I also hoard paper with wooden designs. Just hoard because it’s so awesome to cut it. But this time I was ready to cut some wooden PP for the background. And you know what? Among all wooden PP I have couldn’t find the one that would fit for this card. So stamped myself. Now am asking myself – WHY I need PP at all lol.The second one.. With eyelets, knots, rope, cork sheets (which btw are awesome! they’re thin so you can die-cut them and sticky back). Wanted it to be more severe and strict. But it happened to be kind of childish though.
