Balloons + a new challenge blog

Hello!
I’m back with two more cards. Made them for Jackie’s new challenge search for Guest Designer a new The Cutting Edge Challenge blog. Like  Jackie’s challenges!
I took the balloons card for inspiration. I wasn’t into balloons until recently, saw them as the parts of only children card I don’t do usually. Don’t know why I was thinking like this as I myself every year decorate my place with balloons for my hubby birthday 🙂 Anyway, one day I just started to want them deadly!! And after a long and hard choosing got myself a Wplus9 set. They’re so puffy and adorable 😉Card_140627_03The balloons are made using  inlaid die-cutting technique. Boy, my big-shot had to work hard for it. I think I run it like 50 times to create this card 🙂 But this was worth it.
And the sentiment – DIY chipboard. 2 pieces of grey cardstock (the same as the card front panel) and one piece on white on the top was glued together. It so easy to do and make the sentiment pop more, also adding some kind of shadow.
Card_140627_04The second card was much easier to do as I made here a simpliest inlaid die-cutting. Spend more time on these silver strings 🙂
